The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Jimi Hendrix was brought over to England by Chas Chandler, the bass player for the Animals in September of 1966. Chas quickly put together the Experience and they recorded their first single Hey Joe, which was released in late October and after Jimi made his first UK TV appearance on Ready Steady Go in early December the single charted rising to number six. This shot is of Jimi performing Hey Joe on Ready Steady Go in London in late 1966.
