Description
Six weeks after my initial images of two baby Baltimore Orioles and their father in our backyard, Mom and Dad appear to have moved on. Juveniles of both sexes initially take on the coloring and feather patternsof adult females, however by late in their first summer juvenile males start to differ from their sisters with more uniform orange bellies like adult males, whereas the females retain a mix of orange and yellow coloring.
