Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Liverpool and Manchester Railway. Artworks showing two views of cargo trains on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, passing a bridge and a jail. This was one of the world's first passenger steam railways. The trains were drawn by steam locomotives between Liverpool and Manchester, England. The railway opened in September 1830, and began carrying goods in December. The locomotives shown here are the 'Liverpool' (top) and the 'Fury' (bottom), and the cargo and passengers include livestock and their handlers. This lithograph was published circa 1831 in Karlsruhe, Germany, by the J. Velten art and postcard publishing company.
