Description
"...I fold my hands and wait,
Nor care for wind, nor tide, nor sea; I rave no more against time or fate..." poem by John Burroughs
The energy of the walls inside the Santa Barbara Mission was the inspiration for this drawing. Buildings have the ability to record the past. A staircase to doors
that no longer exist evokes memories... Somebody was waiting on those doorsteps...the stones still remember it...they recorded the memory of waiting.
