Description
I had just walked through this snowfield in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO just minutes before taking this photograph.
The snow was blowing so hard it covered my snowshoe tracks almost immediately.

Looks terrible out there but you made a beautiful photo out of it. I love how you can feel the cold.

Very nice! Where in RMNP did you make this image?!
Adam Paashaus replied:
Thanks Silvio, I was hiking towards Lake Helene from Bear Lake (towards Odessa and Fern Lakes etc). Actually hoping for some visibility, which obviously didn't happen!
Bill Barber
Tough exposure, well done! L
Adam Paashaus replied:
Thanks Bill! The toughest part was actually using my fingers to take the picture in those conditions!!! Thanks for commenting!

Thanks Lila for the comment and the L&F! Bringing this photo for you and others to enjoy makes being in that sufferfest worth it!!!

Awesome, I got a shot like this on Monarch Pass, beautiful!
Adam Paashaus replied:
thanks Janice! Cant remember how I motivated to expose my fingers to the below zero air temp... not to mention the obvious wind chill factor. Thanks for the comment!

You can almost see the wind blowing! Great Capture.
Adam Paashaus replied:
I agree Elaine and/or Charlie, it was definitely howling. Got worried I wouldn't find my way back to my car!
