Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Quite beautiful!
Many people probably know the roadrunner from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies character (Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote), but anyone who has lived in the Southwest or northern Mexico recognizes this bird for both its distinctive appearance and habits. Its most notable physical characteristics are the very long tail, the crested head, and the strong feet; though this bird can fly and occasionally does so, especially to escape predators, it prefers to run on the ground where it can reach speeds of up to 20 miles (32 kilometers) an hour. The roadrunner is the state bird of New Mexico.

Many laughs while growing up were had while watching that Loonie Tunes cartoon. What a GREAT shot. Wonderful capture with wonderful focus and details. I am glad that you were faster in clicking the shutter button than this guy could run and say "Beep Beep".
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Thanks so much, Hany. Saw this comment when you made it, but apparently my reply didn't go through - user error most likely. I grew up Wile E and Road Runner as well as Bugs and all their friends, too - though we were seldom allowed to watch TV.
