This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Artist's Description
I was running late this morning while trying to get to Zilker Park (Lou Neff Point) to photograph the Austin skyline at sunrise. Roads were closed and things just didn't seem to go my way. Eventually I made it. I set up the camera, tripod, and adjusted the settings when a serendipitous moment transpired... a beautiful swan moved between me and the rising sun. This was the resulting image. Sometimes you just get lucky!
But after that, everything seemed to work out. The skies were colored with fast moving clouds. And I was lucky when a few swans came to play around the place I was standing. This Austin skyline picture was from one of those lucky moments.
If I had my pick, the swan would have swam to this point about 15 seconds later so sun burst would have been slightly bigger. But I can't control the animals or the sun, so I just capture the Austin photos I'm given.
This is one of my favorite places to photograph Texas images... especially at sunrise on morni...
