This is really outstanding! Have you tried your hand at Watercolor pencil? It turns drawings into paintings. I love to use mine, just add water when you want to.

Outstanding work of art Sarah. For scientific study and recording watercolors work really well. All though acrylic can bridge the gap from oil paint to watercolors. It works much faster oil to get a good thickness yet can be diluted with water and used much the same as watercolors. Both acrylic and watercolors work excellent for field work and a lot easier to clean up when your on the go then oil. I hope this helps you decide better what to use as your medium.
