Description
We saw this grizzly at the last light of day just as a storm was brewing over the mountain. The bear took off running straight up the side of the mountain. Perhaps he smelled a distant berry patch.... It was a wild, magical moment.

Congratulations on your sale. Your beautiful art shows why people are intrigued with the grizzly.
Harriet Peck Taylor replied:
So true Lorenzo and I tried to capture some of the power of the grizzly and the beauty of the wild places he lives in this art.

You must have a special affinity for bears...your bear images are always so special. I can practically feel the breeze on the grizzly's face. I'm not surprised he took off up the mountain...just look at them, so inviting! Another favorite, Harriet.
Harriet Peck Taylor replied:
You are so right Peggy! I don't know why but i have spent much of my life looking at bears in the wild, hiked thousands of miles and every time it is such a powerful moment.

Your comments on this one so moved me Stephen. If I had to pick one of my favorites, this would be it. I remember that day and place where we saw the bear like it was yesterday.
