This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

Artist's Description

The thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus) was the largest known carnivorous marsupial of modern times. It is commonly known as the Tasmanian tiger (because of its striped lower back) or the Tasmanian wolf. The thylacine had become extremely rare or extinct on the Australian mainland before British settlement of the continent, but it survived on the island of Tasmania along with several other endemic species, including the Tasmanian devil. Intensive hunting encouraged by bounties is generally blamed for its extinction, but other contributing factors may have been disease, the introduction of dogs, and human encroachment into its habitat. Despite its official classification as extinct, sightings are still reported, though none has been conclusively proven. Surviving evidence suggests that it was a relatively shy, nocturnal creature with the general appearance of a medium-to-large-size dog. Taken from "Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London" published 1833.
