The Temptation of Sir Percival, Arthur Hacker Arthur Hacker's 1894 illustration of a scene from Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur, in which Percival is tempted by a devil in the form of a beautiful woman. Arthur Hacker RA (St Pancras, Middlesex, 25 September 1858 – 12 November 1919 Kensington, London) was an English classicist painter.
