Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Love the iPhone case. Takes me back to Greece every time I look at it. I have received many compliments
I knew if I went close to this Killdeer it would fly by me and buzz me. I practiced panning using a Nikkor 300 lens. He kept screaming at me as he went by, they can get very obnoxious. This is the same bird in different poses. I combined them in PS and added clouds and 2 texture layers.
I have recently gotten into bird photography and really love taking their pictures. I also have a passion for clouds and the Texas landscape when the storms come rolling in. Lightning is a favorite subject during storms. I love macro photography and all the hidden detail in these amazing closeups. My arsenal consists of all Nikon cameras, flash units and Nikkor lenses. I have won monthly contests at Better Photo and I have also been published in Cowboy Magazine and Cowboys and Indians Magazine. PLEASE DO NOT PIN IMAGES TO PINTEREST.....THANK YOU

I was eleven years old when my mother took me to see the Grand Tetons. I met my first Killdeer there by the side of the road. She was pretty frantic since I was nearly standing on her eggs. Once I saw them, I backed away so she could relax better. This is gorgeous.
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you, Bunny, they are so pretty but very obnoxious, but then I would be too if I was a killdeer.
