Group Guidelines: Catholic Art Gallery

Artwork that is 1 year per member will remain in the group. The older works (above 1year per member) will be purged as your new works are added.

Members are then asked to rotate artwork. Remove one and add another as you create new artwork. The goal of this guideline is to keep our gallery interesting and up to date. The purpose of groups is to exhibit a sample of your works and lead a collector back to your profile page.

This group will (try) to feature 1 artwork from each group member around the Wednesday of each week, and only when it uses the = Catholic = keyword, however only feature your new works from the previous 7 days.

I also rotate the features weekly on the homepage. So please keep your wonderful artwork moving ==== but only 1 PER DAY, please!

Photographs and Artwork of all mediums accepted, but the image must speak of the theme consisting of the subject of the group.

==== artists who repeatedly ignore the rules will sadly have to be removed from this group ====

Here is a tip: If you want to control what images of yours I consider to be featured, then only submit one image per week. If you want me to curate your images to be featured, then submit more than one per week up to the group image limit. To do this, you can add and remove images as much as you like. The key is to follow the group guidelines to have your submission accepted into this group.

To be Featured, you must have the word 'Catholic' in either the title, or keywords..

Please no 'thank you' threads .... be thankful instead for your gift of art and the ability to tell a story through it. Thank you threads will be deleted..

Catholic Art can be that thing that bridges the gap between understanding and not. We seek artwork that deepen ones understanding of the great mysteries of God and to provide images that will bring the viewers mind back to God. Whether it is a statue, stained glass window, painting or humanities; Catholic art conveys a dimension of Christianity that words strain to impart. However, anything that goes against the Catholic church's teachings/doctrine/dogma, or is clearly anti-Catholic, will not be allowed.

Thank you so much for sharing your artistic vision and the beauty of our Lord's Church with the world!
