Jaime Adrover was born on January 27, 1979 in Miami, Florida. His background is Colombian and Chilean and growing up he was always encouraged to pursue artistic expression. He began painting at the age of five and continued experimenting with different techniques throughout his life. While still in high school he sold several paintings and moved to Paris, France in search of a more bohemian lifestyle and to personally witness the history of art. After being denied acceptance into the prestigious Ecole des Beaux Arts, he returned to Miami. Shortly after he joined the U.S Navy in pursuit of traveling the world while continuing to pursue his art. His talents were soon recognized and was quickly put to work painting murals. His Navy career led him to California and Japan were he spent most of his time traveling the world and experiencing different cultures. Today he lives with his wife and two sons in Miami, Florida working as a full time artist and carving a name for himself in the vivid up and coming Miami Art Scene.
