New Beginnings -- For a Purchase Prize

Happy New Year, everyone! The beauty about new beginnings is that they can start anytime -- and every morning is the beginning of a new day.

1. All mediums accepted. One entry per contestant.
2. Take the viewer to a place or image of inspiration -- a place of hope, potential, beauty, joy. (It does not have to be morning.)
3. The images are judged by a jury of three, of which I am one. My wife and manager, Carolyn, is the second jury member; and the third member is a resident in our town.
4. First, second, and third prizes are purchase prizes. For first place, I will purchase a medium-sized carryall pouch with the winning image; for second and third prizes, I will purchase a mug with the winning images.
5. VERY IMPORTANT: The image entered must be available for purchase as a carry-all pouch and coffee mug. Check your default settings to make sure you offer these items. Also -- I recommend that your image be in horizontal format -- this works best for the carryall pouches and mugs.
6. For the prizes, I am coordinating with an advocate at a local domestic violence shelter for women and children. The purchased carry-all pouch and mugs will be given to clients that the advocate feels need an extra boost.

Each participant may submit 1 image.
