SHIRT IS GREAT, BUT LOTS OF CONFUSION WITH FINE ART AMERICA CUSTOMER SERVICE... TOOK OVER A MONTH OF EMAILS TO FIND OUT THE T SHIRT COLOR WAS NOT AVAILABLE, HAD TO REORDER. NO EXPEDITED SHIPPING OR OTHER DISCOUNT OFFERED FOR THEIR SCREW UP. GOT THE SHIRT A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE OUR EVENT, THANKFULLY. BUT DIDNT HAVE IT TO GIVE TO AT CHRISTMAS AS PLANNED.IMAGE ITSELF IS A CLASSIC. SHIRT IS NOT TOP QUALITY, CERTAINLY NOT WORTH WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING.

This is a reproduction Albert Bierstadt's masterpiece " Light in the Forest " of about 1858. This oil on canvas painting is a mature work which was created near the height of the artist’s fame after his historic trips to the American West which led to his most famous depictions of landscapes there. Bierstadt was born in 1830 Solingen, Germany and moved with his family to Massachusetts the next year. He was a member of the Hudson River School founded by Thomas Cole and first went west in 1859. Though he sold his works for handsome prices, he was not fully appreciated by contemporary art critics. Nevertheless he was elected to the National Academy in 1860 He died in 1902 New York City. This painting measures 132 centimeters by 107 centimeters and is in a private collection.
