Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Tornado. 1.6-kilometre-wide tornado below a striated supercell thunderstorm. This is a composite of 2 images taken a few seconds apart. A tornado is a violent rotating column of air characterised by a funnel-shaped cloud that forms within thunderstorms. They can measure up to 100 metres in diameter, contain winds moving at over 500 kilometres an hour, and cause widespread devastation. Tornadoes are most common in the mid-west USA. Photographed on 29 May 2004 in Nebraska, USA.
