"Even When I'm Blue" ~ inspired by the brave souls in this world who battle with depression, and Steve Earle's song "Even When I'm Blue" (which I feel is also kind of an homage to both the people who suffer from depression AND the people who love them). To me, this piece also reflects anti-Valentine's Day sentiments, the blues in general, the downside of love. It is a digitally altered version of my acrylic painting "Some Broken Hearts Never Mend".
