FALLS' RUSH TO SOUTH LAKE by Lynn Bauer - The waters of Bishop Creek are rushing through beautiful golden aspens on their way to South Lake in the High Sierra Mountains of California. This area, north of the town of Bishop, is one of the most beautiful and scenic areas to view the changing colors of the aspen in the fall. With majestic mountains, beautiful lakes and rivers, as well as aspens and cottonwoods...well, it just doesn't get much more spectacular!
This area is off of Highway 395, and is a great stopping point on the drive up to Mammoth Lakes...or, anywhere in the Eastern Sierras, for that matter!
