On March 18, 1990, thirteen pieces from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum were stolen at an estimated loss of $500 million, making the robbery the largest private property theft in history. Except for the Chinese drinking cup, ALL OF THE STOLEN WORKS OF ART are included in this gallery which includes works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Manet, Flinck, Degas & a French bronze Eagle with a Napoleonic flag.
A Tiffany lamp illuminates the left side of the gallery as a mysterious woman looks in. A large wall print would not only compliment any living space or business but it would also make a great conversation piece.
