This was an old cemetery in Rockport. Though quite old, many American flags had been planted, so it was good to see these people are still remembered.
I have been taking pictures most of my life and love the idea of taking a moment and capturing it forever! My photography skills have been enhanced through private lessons as well as being a member of my local camera club. I have won more than 100 awards and features from various competitions thus far and have had my pictures displayed at art galleries, libraries and other institutions both individually and collectively as part of the camera club exhibit. In addition to my event and portrait photography, I make digital slideshows and enjoy helping others create lasting memories with their photos. I also attend many craft fairs throughout the year selling my note cards and prints.

I'm with Doug on this. Love the long shadows cast from the headstones. Lends an air of melancholy to the image. I always feel sad when I see a neglected headstone, tilting and covered in moss. You mention there were flags on some of the graves, so people do remember. PIF in Wisconsin Flowers.
