A wonderful view of California's central coastline, taken from above the bay in San Simeon, near Hearst Castle. Although it is in the distance, the white pier is visible in this photo. Waters, which can oftentimes be a deep blue, were a gorgeous shade of turquoise on this day! Such beauty that it is truly understandable why William Randolph Hearst built his castle on the mountainside above this bay!!!
