Ha, ha -- your comments make me smile! Yes, a historical image can look funny to us, that's for sure. The line of trees beneath the skis shows the lay of the slope he's on -- of course the up-hill is in the background! I didn't want to add to the historical photograph's information by adding "his" hill, since I didn't want to guess at the height of his jump! Thank you for your attention!
