Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

of the Everlades
in the western reaches
of Palm Beach County
in South Florida.
The US National
Water Ski Championships
is held on this lake,
one of the best skiing venues
in the world.
With light tropical breezes,
a smooth lake surface,
and long narrow
canal-type lakes
all add up
to a wonderful spot
to hold this yearly championship.
Typically held
at the end
of the summer,
if you come to watch,
make sure
to bring along
a shade umbrella,
sunscreen,
and lots of cold
beverages on ice!
