I accidentally deleted this while I was looking at Fine Art America in a darkly lit bus. This is the second time I did this in exactly the same way. How frustrating! I am sorry to all those people who left such nice comments.
The photo was taken in Brooklyn, New York. People are gathered by the east river to enjoy the summer day. Seen in the distance is the Williamsburg Bridge.
At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed.
