Who doesn't love Eddie?
This is the new Chelmsford Center for the Arts in massachusetts. It was the Town Hall then it was the Community Center. Now it has been completely renovated, tastefully and houses artist studios, a wonderful theater, a gallery and a Music Club! Very exciting development for my town.
Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes. Her style borders between representational and abstract. The colors and lines of her paintings are inspired by Matisse during the Fauvist movement.
