This is the view of Yosemite Valley from Glacier Point at the end of Glacier Point Road. Not many tourists leave the Valley when visiting Yosemite. It is said that 90 percent of visitors to Yosemite National Park never explore beyond the valley.

I've just come back from spectacular Scotland, but this dwarfs some of the huge mountains I have just seen! Thank you, Kip! This is one of my favorite vantage points looking into Yosemite Valley. It's amazing how few visitors to Yosemite ever leave the Valley. I've heard only about 10% ever visit the high country of Yosemite.

Oh Yeah Glacier Point, a place of special and almost magical beauty. You have captured it very well. Another thing that I like about this shot is how it clearly shows the broad U shape of a valley carved by glaciers. Nice, nice so very nice!
