Description
A black and white image of the Zubizuri (which is Basque for "white bridge") or Campo Volantin Bridge, a tied arch footbridge across the Nervion River in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. The bridge was designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava and opened in 1997. In the background are the Isozaki Atea (Basque for Isozaki Gate) twin towers, the tallest residential buildings in the city. The towers are 83m / 272 ft high, have 22 floors and were designed by the Japanese architect Arata Isozaki.
