The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Paint allows me to express the beauty I see in nature and people. I aspire to capture the world realistically with paint but not photographically. I want my images to have the feeling of paint but be somewhat realistic. I was raised in Tanana, Denali Park and Salcha, Alaska and currently reside in Healy with my husband of 21 years and 9 year old son. Being a born and raised Alaskan I have never lacked for interesting subjects. Acrylics, oils and egg tempera are my favorite mediums. My subjects include landscapes, wildlife, subsistence activities, everyday scenes of Alaska, and Orthodox icons.
