A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
These longhorn steers are driven down Main Street in the Fort Worth Stockyards several times a day.
Fort Worth was the last major stop for rest and supplies for the drovers heading cattle up the Chisolm Trail. Beyond Fort Worth they would have to deal with crossing the Red River into Indian Territory. Between 1866 and 1890 more than four million head of cattle were trailed through Fort Worth, which was soon known as "Cowtown." Cowtown soon had its own disreputable entertainment district several blocks south of the Courthouse area known all over the West as "Hell's Half Acre".
When the railroad finally arrived in 1876, Fort Worth became a major shipping point for livestock. This prompted plans in 1887 for the construction of the Union Stockyards about two and one half miles north of the Tarrant County Courthouse. It went into full operation about 1889.
About David and Carol Kelly
Thank you for visiting our site. We have been married 58 years and are long time partners in our art as well as life. Most of the beautiful floral and butterfly images are from Carol's camera while most of the rest are from David's. The making of a photographic image requires more than the click of a shutter. In the days of film photography we spent many hours in the chemical darkroom to make the negative more than just a "picture". The current digital darkroom allows far more control and artistic development for the original digital file to come to life as art.You will find in our galleries realistic presentations, simulated paintings and outright digital abstracts. We thank you very much for taking the time to look at our images.
