The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.
Artist's Description
On a November hike through Florida scrub, we found this green lynx spider nesting within the brown vegetation of Florida scrubland. These spiders are increasingly used to augment agriculture pest control initiatives because they are effective predators of several species of moth. They present no danger to human beings and rarely bite. Gravid females change their color to blend in with their surroundings.
About Sean Green
I was born in Lafayette Louisiana and moved around the United States frequently as the child of a Navy Submariner. Much of my early life, was spent in San Diego and I suspect was instrumental in the development of my passion for Art and Science. When asked as a child what I was going to be when I grew up, my answer was always " I'm gonna be either an Artist or a Scientist". Later in life, I discovered the work of Leonardo da Vinci, one of the greatest painters and thinkers of all time, and more importantly, inspiration that my two greatest interests (Art and Science) need not be mutually exclusive.
