Hands United - Hand Mandalas for peace

These images were created in 2017 after the Women's march, The images are meant to convey a sense of unity, solidarity, peace and community. They represent the world that can and in many cases does exist. Creating them was a way for me to stay sane in a difficult political climate. The women who volunteered to model for these photographs represented many cultures and religions . They came into the project strangers and left friends and neighbors. ​
