Janet has had a lifelong interest in arts, fine craft, play, creativity, community, curiousity, faeries, tall ships, magic and empowering self and others to imagine, create, and find joy in the process.

It is through her art, written works, and travel that Janet gets many of her answers. Her mystical artworks and storytelling evolve as if she is merely an observer and she will give credit to spirit, mystical beings, magic, and to the brilliance of what we are all capable of accessing when we give ourselves permission to show up to the creative process.

Healing from a critical illness, Janet discovered that once again painting proved magical. Like opening a door to her mind, while painting Janet would learn more of what her body, mind and soul needed next to heal. So strange, isn't it? But true.

Somehow her strong connection to Tall Ships during her illness evolved into her actually training as a Tall Ship Sailor in November 2014 on the 'Lady Washington.' THAT was amazing.

Her mediums: Clay and porcelain, watercolour on yupo, the written word. (Partial Artist CV below)

From this, she has discovered a further talent that lies in helping others find their best access to the 'whole brain' and 'whole spirit' whether it be through creative thinking and doing, insightful conversations, arts, visualization, writing, or inspired actions.Janet's own intuitive abilities help others to discover their intuitive abilities. 'Magical' is a term often used to describe the coaching process that is her other profession. (Certified Professional Life Coach through ICA; Certified Creativity Coach through Kaizen Muse Creativity Coaching) .www.musingsandmud.com. Building collaborative groups of creative people is also a unique ability that Janet loves to put to use.

Janet lives in Kamloops BC Canada and creates in her inspiring home studio and coaches locally and internationally. Her extensive life and career experiences have led her to having a unique set of skills and expertise that transferred beautifully into creating her combined creative and coaching 'Musings and Mud Studio'.
