I have always been interested in art and in creating visual work. In my desire to produce art I have used pastels, watercolours, acrylics and gouache. My subjects usually taken from nature.
I have now stumbled upon the wonderful medium of photography and find enjoyment in being experimental with techniques to produce art-like images but using photographic materials.
I have put together my first collection of images created during the summer of 2013 in the UK The ebook is called Lumen.

These images are individually unique, they are not painted nor are they photographs, although at a later stage they become a scanned image. They are created using the power of the sun as the developing medium, floral material is used and the resulting initial image is dependant upon the moisture in the plant and atmosphere and the heat and humidity of the day.
My second ebook called Colours has also been created. A journey that started with slow shutter speeds and the recording of light whilst in a moving car progressing to trials of oil in water and finally to using a CD as the base and background for oils displaying refracted colours

I have recently displayed my work at the New Mills Art Trail in Derbyshire UK and some of my images are now permanently on display at Cloudberry Cafe, Marple Cheshire UK.
