I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

Artist's Description

A researcher holding a robot 'gnat' at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. This is the smallest of the robot insects so far produced by MIT during their nanotechnology and micromechanics research. The gnat has its own photodetectors and logic processors, enabling it to search for and hide in shadows. This kind of very simple task given to robot insects is known as 'artificial stupidity'. Until battery technology catches up, the gnat still requires an external power supply. Researchers at MIT hope to eventually produce robot insects that may be used in industry to perform internal checks and on-the- spot repairs to otherwise inaccessible machinery.
