This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
Frost heaving. Third of three images showing a weathering process called frost heaving occurring around a medium-sized stone on a patch of soil on a river bank. Frost heaving occurs in frost-susceptible soils, as water penetrating upwards from the water table freezes and forms an ice layer. This ice layer displaces the overlying frozen ground upwards, sometimes by as much as 30 centimetres. The stone (centre right) has been displaced upwards less than the surrounding soil. Photographed in winter in British Columbia, Canada, after three days of sub-zero temperatures.
