I'm continuing my quest for photo-realistic 3D modeled human figures. Here I combined 2 commercial 3D figure models and changed over a hundred parameters for the skeleton pose, muscle groups, materials, etc. The lighting is simpler than most of mine, with only 5 light sources and 3 glowing materials.
Jim has always been fascinated by light and color and studied them extensively. He received his BFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, where he later taught. Jim minored in printmaking, experimented with visual perception, used Ansel Adam's "Zone System" and visited top photographers. He completed a 10 day intensive workshop with Minor White. Jim helped invent "Light Shows" and invented laser and other light effects. Pioneering in computing, he built his first PC in 1976, based on the same design Bill Gates used for his first a few months earlier. Jim is now a 3D modeler, master of Photoshop, photographer and writer. Images © 2011 Jim Coe. All Rights Reserved. Image use...

Fantasy! ..enchanting image with wonderful motion, color and fantastic light
Jim Coe replied:
Thanks Vale! DAZ 3D human figures + clothing and hair, and Vue 3D software scenes provide a lot of creative power, like attempting your own "photo-realistic" human skin materials.
