Meaning behind the art:
So many things nurture us, from good whole food, simple walks in the woods to a long chat with a dear good friend. The question asked this morning in my phone call with her was, “what do you need to nurture myself. A good send of well-being, and a sense of safety with a twist of the simple things in life. The color of red was my go to paper this day as I was digging through my stacks to make the Tack Down and the papers with the stenciled patterns…I think it was a demo paper I shared at a workshop…good to use those papers up, right?
