Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. About John Lautermilch
John Lautermilch graduated from Washington University School of Fine Arts (St. Louis, Missouri) with a certificate in fine art. He has been painting for the past 60 years and has had numerous one man shows. His most recent shows were at the Missouri Botanical Garden and Componere Art Gallery in University City where he displays his work. He has completed numerous commissions in his life, the most recent was for the Lutheran Senior Services. They commissioned three murals the largest being eight feet long. He is presently preparing for another two shows for the Missouri Botanical Garden and one at Componere Art Gallery in St. Louis, May.
