The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
The Eisenbahnmuseum Bochum-Dahlhausen is a railway museum founded by the German DGEG (German society of railway history) in 1977. It is located in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia in the south of the city of Bochum in a locomotive shed that was built in the years 1916 to 1918 and ceased operation in 1969. Then DGEG took over the whole area of 46, 000 square meters and built up the biggest railway museum in Germany. In the middle of the museum, there is an engine shed with fourteen tracks. A preserved turntable, coaling, watering, and sanding facilities are still in operation. This museum is integrated into the Route der Industriekultur a route of monuments from the history of the industry.

I have been a keen photographer since childhood, have worked in photography all my life on the lab side. I work with picture libraries and main themes are landscapes, travel & railways. My images date back to the early 1970s and many were made with transparency film which has been professionally processed & scanned. I was born in London and moved to Germany in 1979. As many shots were taken on return visits to the UK, I was able to see with both the eyes of a tourist and a native. I exhibited canvas prints of my work in Stralsund, Northern Germany in 2005.
