About Chris Slaymaker
Chris Slaymaker Christopher Gray Herron Slaymaker was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 25th 1984. He is the son of two artists. Chris was a prolific drawer of dinosaurs by age 4. He grew up in the rural Virginia, Shenandoah Valley. He was a very active youth participating in many sports including soccer, baseball, skateboarding, cross country, track and wrestling. Chris exhibited artistic talent in drawing as early as first grade. He was later voted Spotswoods High Scools “Most Artistic.” Chris was introduced to painting at the Beverley Street Studio School. His freshman and sophomore work was done at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of the Arts at the...
