Taken on the USS Constitution in Boston. This great wooden tall ship was an excellent photographic subject with all its wood and lines, contours and history. What caught my eyes for this shot was the patterns and textures of the coiled rope. Textures and patterns are one of my favorite photo subjects. I liked this particular capture enough to make different versions of it. See them all in my gallery.
