Voluntary river cleaning work. Students clearing rubbish from a river as part of voluntary work. The river is Fellows Creek, a tributary of the Rouge River, which runs through the west end of Detroit, USA, and its western and northern suburbs. The students are members of the Canton Hindu Temple, and are part of the annual 'Rouge Rescue', where hundreds of volunteers work to improve the environment along this river and its tributaries. Photographed in May 2015, near Canton, Michigan, USA.
