I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

I'm a sculptor and painter. I started out as a science fiction and fantasy illustrator, influenced by the work of Frank Frazetta. I also served a year as an apprentice to Seward Johnson at his atelier in New Jersey. I've studied art, theatre, martial arts and ballroom dance. My work tends to be very autobiographic. I paint and sculpt from my life and experiences, often inserting a self portrait or using myself as model. I still like to use fantasy elements and, probably because I was a sailor, I have a thing for mermaids.
