Description
The great north face of the North Twin, almost 5000' (~1500m) in height, as seen on August 12, 2002, is one of the most difficult alpine climbs on the continent, and is sometimes referred to as "the Eigerwand of North America". The summit, at 3731m, 12241', is the third highest in the Canadian Rockies and is located in Jasper National Park, Alberta. Photo taken with a 4x5 view camera using a 400mm Chromar-T lens, Kodak T-Max 100 film, and a yellow filter and polarizer in conjunction, a little after noon.
