Description
Osteosarcoma cells. Immunofluorescence light micrograph of human osteosarcoma cells stained to show cell proteins and organelles. These cells are stained for tubulin (green), PIK3CA (red), and mitochondria (blue). PIK3C2a is a member of the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) family. PI3-kinases play roles in signalling pathways involved in cell proliferation, oncogenic transformation, cell survival, cell migration, and intracellular protein trafficking. Magnification: x1030 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
