Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The nylon forms the large chain-like vertical component of the weave, whilst the Lycra is seen in the thinner, criss-crossing lines between the nylon. Lycra is the trademark of an elastane fibre produced by DuPont. It is a synthetic fibre with highly- elastic qualities, and is used in clothing designed to fit closely to the body (such as swimwear and sports clothing). The material seen here comes from a pair of cycling shorts. Magnification x150 at 8x10 inch size.
