A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. William Hunter on the anatomy of human pregnancy, 1774. This page, showing the uterus of a woman who died in the ninth month of pregnancy, is from 'Anatomia uteri humani gravidi' (The anatomy of the human gravid uterus) by Scottish anatomist William Hunter (1718-1783). The death was caused by bleeding following detachment of the placenta (abruptio placentae). Hunter was the leading obstetrician of the time, and this was his most famous publication. His approach to anatomical illustration was modelled on that used by Leonardo da Vinci. Engraving by Edward Edwards (1738-1806).
