I purchased three of these notebooks for gifts and I am thrilled with the purchase. Everything about the notebook is quality- the paper, the reproduction of the print and the way they were bagged for shipping. I will be back to purchase more soon.

Great.
John Mix Stanley was an American artist and explorer born in 1814 in Canandaigua, New York. He is best known for his paintings depicting Native American culture and life in the American West during the 19th century.
Stanley began his career as a portrait painter, but he later turned his attention to capturing the natural beauty and cultural richness of the American West. He joined several government expeditions, including one led by John C. Fremont, which gave him the opportunity to travel extensively and gain first-hand knowledge of the region's landscapes and people.
Throughout his career, Stanley produced hundreds of paintings that showcased the diversity of Native American cultures and traditions. His works often depicted ceremonial dances, hunting scenes, and everyday life in Native American villages. He was also an accomplished landscape painter, and his paintings of the American West helped to popularize the region and inspire a sense of national pride.
