Male genitourinary system. Computer artwork showing the relative positions of the genitals and urinary organs in the male body. The kidneys (upper left and right) filter water-soluble waste products from the blood and pass them through the ureters (tubes, centre) into the bladder (pink, lower centre), where they are stored as urine. When the bladder is full the urine is passed out of the body through the urethra (tube) inside the penis (lower left). The testes (testicles) can be seen below the penis, connected by the vas deferens (tubes) from the epididymis (red) to the seminal vesicles (behind bladder) and prostate gland (below bladder).
